Photosweeper lite review12/6/2023 ![]() ![]() (3) This Lite Version will prompt you to upgrade after every single image you resize, and there is no option to stop the prompt, even though the app itself has a very clearly distinguished button “GET FULL VERSION” (yes, in caps) beside the “Resize” button and the greyed-out/upgraded-feature button of “Resize All”… (Upgrade as of the time of this review is $2.99) It is just inconvenient and would be more user-friendly if it offered this prompt only once per session.Īll things considered, still totally worth getting if you have to resize a lot of images and want specific control of the resize, but aren’t ready to pay for an app yet. It would be more user-friendly if it was outlined that the lite version doesn’t include drag-and-drop, or if the drag-and-drop was built into it. I knew that there were programs out there to find duplicates, so I started searching. The photos weren’t always of the same quality and I had to manually go through to pick the best one. (2) This Lite Version doesn’t actually include drag-and-drop that I can figure out, you have to add the images by using the “+” add button, ergo the description here is misleading. Review: PhotoSweeper Back in December when I was scanning in old photos, I found that I had some of the photos already in digital form leaving me with duplicates. (it is still better than other free resizers I have used.) It would be more user-friendly if your description either did NOT include mention of the batch-resizing that this lite version does not actually allow, or specified that the BATCH-Processing option is for the upgraded version only. (1) It is easy to overlook that this Lite Version is limited to ONE IMAGE RESIZED AT A TIME! Yes, you can add many images at one time to the app FOR resizing, but actual resizing is done one at a time in this lite version. It does what it says it does and it is easy to use. Lower the quality for higher image compression to get smaller file size.
